USC Cap and Gowns (Regalia) can be purchased or rented from the USC Bookstore both online and in person. Please review the bookstore’s website for order information and deadlines. Below you will find Rossier specific information to assist you when ordering.

Hoods:

Hoods are included with your cap & gown rental orders by indicating which degree you’re receiving.

Hood colors:

• Master’s/EdD – Light Blue (Make sure the USC Bookstore knows it’s an education degree) 

• PhD – Dark Blue

Tams:

PhD and EdD students may wear tams instead of mortar boards (caps) at the ceremony. Tams must be purchased; mortar boards are included with cap and gown rentals.

Honor Cords/Sashes:

• Honor chords are only distributed to undergraduate students.

• Graduates are allowed to wear USC sashes with your regalia.
