2024 Commencement Ceremonies

USC Rossier School of Education Commencement Ceremonies will take place on May 8 and May 10, 2024 in McCarthy Quad.

 

USC Rossier will host the 2024 Doctoral Commencement Ceremony on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.  and the Master’s Commencement Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 10 at 3:45 p.m. in McCarthy Quad.

Participation:

All eligible graduates who plan to participate in this year’s commencement ceremony MUST register on MarchingOrder by March 10. A personalized email will be sent directly to your inbox from rossier.events@usc.edu starting February 16 (Please check your spam). To ensure that we have accounted for everyone, we ask if you don’t wish to attend, please let us know via the registration link or by emailing the Rossier Event Office.

Class of 2024, a registration emails will be sent to your USC email. If you don’t receive the email 24 hours after the February 16 launch date,  please email Rossier.events@usc.edu with your official name, student ID, USC email, program and mobile number.

Eligibility to participate in any ceremony is subject to approval by your academic unit and can change based on your academic standing even after you have registered. If you have any questions regarding your approval, please contact your academic advisor. Contact information for your advisors can be found on the Rossier Commencement Page.

NAME DISPLAY/ANNOUNCEMENT:
While registering on Marching Order, double check that your name is spelled how you wish for it be announced and displayed during the ceremony. All names must be called based on your official USC record. We will be unable to accept changes after April 4th, please start the process now.
Please contact the Office of Academic Records and Registrar to make record changes. Once the change has been processed and confirmed, email your confirmation to rossier.events@usc.edu. The Events Office will update your Marching Order record.

Guest tickets are not required for entry.  Please note: 

  • Regalia is required for all graduates to participate in the ceremony.
  • NO STROLLERS, UMBRELLAS OR BALLOONS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE VENUE.
  • There is a designated section for guests in a wheelchair/walker. Only one other person can sit in this section with the guest in a wheelchair/walker.
