Master’s Graduate – Day of Ceremony Information

The USC Rossier School of Education Master’s Commencement Ceremony takes place Friday, May 10, 2024 at 3:45 p.m. in McCarthy Quad.  All Master’s candidates (MAT, MAT-TESOL, Educational Counseling, Enrollment Management and Policy, LDT, MFT, PASA, School Counseling Programs) will be included in this ceremony.


USC Campus Access Tickets

All USC Rossier Commencement Ceremonies will require tickets for graduates and their guests to enter campus for both USC Rossier Ceremonies.  Graduates can access information on obtaining those tickets at  https://commencement.usc.edu/graduates/ticketing-information

Ceremony Information

FRIDAY, MAY 10, 2024 | 3:45 p.m.

USC Rossier Master’s Commencement Ceremony will be held in McCarthy Quad (between Doheny and Leavey Libraries). The ceremony will last approximately 2 hours. A reception will be hosted on West Leavey Lawn immediately following the ceremony.

All Graduates MUST be registered and have regalia to attend.  Before arrival, all graduates MUST print their GRAD PASS (without altering the size) for their assigned ceremony.

Grad Pass

  • Starting April 9th, all registered graduates can log into their Marching Order account and retrieve their Grad Pass. Each pass will contain a unique QR code that will be scanned as they cross the stage.
  • Please remember to PRINT your Grad Pass without altering the size and bring to the ceremony.

Line-Up

  • Please note, ONLY the registered graduate is allowed to cross the stage during the ceremony.
  • Graduate line-up begins 1 hour prior to each ceremony in the area adjacent to McCarthy Quad between Doheny Library (rear) and Argue Plaza.
  • You will be seated by program. (For example: PASA, MAT, MAT-TESOL, etc). Graduates MUST stay in their specified groups throughout the ceremony.

Rented Regalia

  • Caps and Gowns can be returned inside the University Bookstore on Wednesday, May 8 and Friday, May 10, 2024 or the bin adjacent to McCarthy Quad.
