Dear OCL students,

We want to confirm for you the opportunity to change grading options this Spring 2022 semester for courses in our Rossier graduate program.  In the OCL program, your Spring 2022 graduate Rossier courses may be completed through one of two grading options:  “Pass/No Pass” or for a letter grade.

• Graduate students selecting the “Pass/No Pass” option will earn a “Pass” only if the underlying grade is “B” or better in the class. An underlying “B−” or lower will result in a “No Pass” if the “Pass/No Pass” option is selected, and then that “No Pass” grade will not result in earning graduate credit for the course. It is likely that the course would then need to be repeated. However, if you continue with the grading option of “letter grade”, you can earn graduate credit for the course with a C or better.

• The deadline for changing grade options from letter grade to “Pass/No Pass” is February 11, 2022. Once you change your grading option to “Pass/No Pass,” you cannot change it back to letter grade.
