{"id":623,"date":"2018-08-28T14:02:57","date_gmt":"2018-08-28T21:02:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/students.rossier.usc.edu\/edl\/?p=623"},"modified":"2018-08-28T14:02:57","modified_gmt":"2018-08-28T21:02:57","slug":"fall-2018-usc-safe-ride-program-presented-by-lyft","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/students.rossier.usc.edu\/edl\/fall-2018-usc-safe-ride-program-presented-by-lyft\/","title":{"rendered":"Fall 2018 USC Safe Ride Program presented by Lyft"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome back, USC students!\u00a0 As the Fall semester gets started, we\u2019re happy again to partner with Lyft to provide the USC Safe Ride program.\u00a0 Program parameters remain the same as last year \u2013 if a pre-registered student uses the Lyft app to travel within USC Safe Ride boundaries between the hours of 7:00pm and 2:00am, seven nights a week, then USC will pay for that ride.<\/p>\n<p>Specific details and reminders for the Fall 2018\u00a0 program appear below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Invites will be sent from this email address to each student <strong>this Thursday, August 16<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>. Do not share your invite \u2013 it is unique for each user and can only be activated once!<\/li>\n<li>Program resumes <strong>on Saturday, August 18<sup>th<\/sup> at 7:00pm<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>How it works<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o\u00a0\u00a0 Activate your account through the link in the invite<\/p>\n<p>o\u00a0\u00a0 Take a <strong>SHARED<\/strong> ride in USC Safe Ride boundaries between the hours of 7:00pm-2:00am<\/p>\n<p>o\u00a0\u00a0 If your ride qualifies it will say <strong>FREE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>o\u00a0\u00a0 Program works with credits that apply to your ride and you\u2019ll get a 0.00 receipt.\u00a0 Credits cover you and the extra charge for 1 friend<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>NOTE: Credits don\u2019t cover high primetime fares, cancellations, or tips!\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong>These charges will be the student\u2019s responsibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o\u00a0\u00a0 Hours may change for special events, such as football games; watch for notifications or check our website (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.usc.edu\/parking\">www.usc.edu\/parking<\/a>) for announcements<\/p>\n<p>o\u00a0\u00a0 A flyer detailing the program is attached, along with a map of the approved pick-up and drop-off Rideshare Zones.
