Pullias scholars will work with CSUDH to design, pilot, and evaluate the impact of the digital tool on educational outcomes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yasemin Copur-Gencturk<\/strong> received a NSF CAREER Award for the project, entitled &#8220;Development of Pedagogical Content Knowledge in Mathematics Among Beginning Teachers,&#8221; for $629,864.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Charles H.F. Davis III<\/strong>\u00a0(USC Race and Equity Center) was awarded a contract to conduct a national climate study of the student affairs profession in partnership with the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), $50,000.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mary Helen Immordino-Yang<\/strong> was awarded the Spencer Foundation Mid-Career Fellowship for 2018-2019 for $150,000 for the project &#8220;Integrating insights from social-affective neuroscience into education research and policy on social, emotional and academic development.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mary Helen Immordino-Yang<\/strong>\u00a0and the <strong>Brain and Creativity Institute<\/strong> received a grant from the Californians Dedicated to Education (CDE) Foundation for
