Study teams are now be required to submit a fully developed protocol into iStar section 5.2.<\/p>\n<p>For industry or multicenter studies, the sponsor\u2019s protocol will suffice. For all other studies, researchers will be required to submit a protocol based on one of USC\u2019s template protocols, available on the IRB\/OPRS website under the \u201cMost Used Documents\u201d banner on the right hand side of the home page, underneath the \u201cCurrent Wait Time\u201d banner. The appropriate template must be used. For Biomedical IRB submissions, use the Biomedical Investigator Initiated Protocol Template. For Social Behavioral IRB submissions, use the Social Behavioral Protocol Template. For Chart Review applications, please utilize the Chart Review Template Protocol. If you are not sure which IRB you should be submitting to, please review the OPRS\/IRB website (<a href=\"https:\/\/oprs.usc.edu\/bioirb\/biomedical\/\">biomedical<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/oprs.usc.edu\/sbirb\/social-behavioral\/\">social behavioral<\/a>) or contact us at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:irb@usc.edu\">irb@usc.edu<\/a>. If you are also submitting to the USC Cancer Center, please use the CISO template available through their website (<a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__https:\/uscnorris.com\/core\/ciso\/CIR.aspx__;!!LIr3w8kk_Xxm!7O8omtFv-FzHqiDPuY0rkC2whw5xvuC_2YeuanV-HpIa6mlEEcVHCQRfdwgchbb0G6BU$\">https:\/\/uscnorris.com\/core\/ciso\/CIR.aspx<\/a>). Grant applications and protocols from grant submissions will no longer be accepted in lieu of a fully developed protocol using the appropriate IRB template.<\/p>\n<p>Any study already in queue will be grandfathered in and reviewed as is. A grace period (December 5 \u2013 December 31<sup>st<\/sup>) will be observed for new submissions.
