A reception will be hosted on the Pardee Way Lawn immediately following each ceremony.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All Graduates MUST be <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/usc.marchingorder.com\/#\/\">registered<\/a><\/span> and have regalia to attend.\u00a0 Before arrival, all graduates MUST download to their mobile phone OR print their <span style=\"color: #800000\">STAGE PASS<\/span> for their assigned ceremony.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>STAGE PASS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Starting April 15, all registered graduates can log into their <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/usc.tassel.com\/login#\/\">Tassel account<\/a><\/span> and retrieve their Stage Pass. Each pass will contain a unique QR code that will be scanned as they cross the stage.<\/b><\/li>\n<li>You have <strong>2 options to bring your Stage Pass to your ceremony:<\/strong>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>SAVE AND PRINT your Grad Pass without altering the size.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000\"><strong>SAVE AND DOWNLOAD your Stage Pass to your phone album or apple\/google wallet.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Instructions on how to download or print your <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/students.rossier.usc.edu\/commencement\/stage-passes-on-tassel-com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stage pass can be accessed here.<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Line-Up<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Please note, <span style=\"color: #800000\">ONLY the<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #800000\"> registered graduate <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">is allowed to cross the stage during the ceremony<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Graduate line-up will begin at 12:00 p.m. <\/strong>in the lawn in front of Waite Phllips Hall.<\/li>\n<li>Graduates will line up within their program, by their Chairs\u2019 Last Name.\n<ul>\n<li><em>If their chair is not present and an alternative was not previously designated, Dr. Stowe will hood.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Graduates <strong>MUST<\/strong> stay in their specified groups throughout the ceremony.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 class=\"goldline\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>REGALIA<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Rented Regalia<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Caps and Gowns can be returned inside the University Bookstore on <strong>Wednesday, May 13 and Friday, May 15, 2026 or the bin adjacent to McCarthy Quad.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>For specific information, please contact <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uscbookstore.com\/commencement\">University Bookstore.<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Hoods (DOCTORAL STUDENTS ONLY)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please bring your hood with the button <strong><u>UNFASTENED<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Make sure to carry your hood with your left arm until you are \u201chooded\u201d by your chair<\/li>\n<li>Once seated, place your hood on your chair until it is time to be hooded<\/li>\n<li>Tassels should be worn on the <strong><u>left side<\/u><\/strong> of the cap<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>USC transportation, captioning, parking and wheelchair access information can be found on the <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"font-weight: bold;color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/students.rossier.usc.edu\/commencement\/guests\/\">For Guest tab.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>For additional inquiries, please contact <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"mailto:rossier.events@usc.edu\">rossier.events@usc.edu<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The USC Rossier School of Education Doctoral Commencement Ceremony takes place Wednesday, May 13, 2026\u00a0in McCarthy Quad. \u00a0All Doctoral candidates (PhD, EdD &#8211; EDL, OCL and Global Executive) are included and will be hooded by their Faculty Chair during this ceremony.
